Day 110 days - Outcome of Mdm Thoo NGPDT treatment
Many of you might be wonder what the outcome of my Mom's cancer treatment using NGPDT method. If you have been following this progress, you would know that we had done the following: 30 June, 2011: First ultrasound and biopsy report. Confirm breast cancer. Lymph node affected. 13 July, 2011: Petscan showed no spread to other parts of body. Stage 2B-3B - confirmed. Oncologist recommended surgery, chemo followed by radiation. We decline and approach NGPDT as alternative. 1-8 Aug, 2011. First NGPDT treatment in GuangZhou. Also did a Stem Cell drip (6 days) to boost immune system. 13 Aug, 2011. Ultrasound report showed tumor increased in size. 1 Sept, 2011. Ultrasound report showed tumor increased in size. 5-13 Sept, 2011. Second NGPDT treatment in GZ. 28 Oct, 2011. Ultrasound report showed tumor increased in size. 30 Nov, 2011. Second PET scan was done. Showed tumor increase (compared to 13 July). SUVmax increased. 11 Nov, 2011. Performed a FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) to determine whether the tumor cells are dying.
FNAC report is supposed to show that NGPDT process had caused the majority of the tumor cells to die (a process of necrosis). If this was the outcome, then we would declare that NGPDT had successfully killed the breast tumor.
Unfortunately, the pathologist report showed very little necrotic cells (see pictures below). Most of the tumor cells are still active (blue cells). And there are some single tumor cells which could be dangerous. This is very disappointing for us. After >100 days, to come to this conclusion, is a very disappointing outcome. The facts that remain clear are as follows: Negative:
Tumor increased by 33% in size.
SUVmax had increased by 40+%.
Lumpectomy is not possible. Only Mastectomy is recommended. Ie. no breast conservation.
Positive:
Overall health has not deteriorated.
No spread (metastasis) to other organs
No over discomforts or side-effects (as seen in chemotherapy)
Our next steps remain are Mastectomy followed by radiation. Removal of the lymph nodes (all). This is not good at all! We are not please with this outcome. Scheduled for 24th Nov for surgery.
Your help: Every night at 9.30pm (Singapore time). Our family will spend 10minutes to send positive energy (prayers, meditation, positive thinking) to Madam Thoo to help her tumor to shrink and disappear. We want to do this so that we eliminate the need for surgery. Wherever you all are, please spend 10mins to send POSITIVE energy, VISUALIZE a healthy body of Madam Thoo. With your psychic energies and power of positive intentions, please help my Mom to recover. Thank you!
Alex Butt
Blue cells are Tumor Cancer cells. White oval shape are fats, pink nodules are red blood cells
This light SPOTTED cell is a necrotic cell. A tumor cell dying (or dead). In this sample, we only found 2 necrotic cells. Bad news! NGPDT has not anhilated the tumor cells!
Blue cells are Tumor Cancer cells. They are clustered as differentiated cells (ie similar activity)
Single (bright blue) cells are undifferentiated tumor cells. They have not joined the other tumor cells. Single cells has their own mitochrondric energy source. They could spread new colony - dangerous
